The Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn festival, is one of the most important events in the Chinese calendar, celebrating the harvest of the year.
The festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in Lunar calendar. This year, the China Studies Centre is celebrating this special occasion on Thursday 24 September 12pm – 2pm a few days ahead of the full moon.
